Your hearing plays an important part in staying connected with family, friends and the world around you. At Pritchard Cowburn, we work in partnership with Amplify Hearing to provide expert hearing care, including free hearing tests for over 55s, professional ear wax removal and high quality hearing aids at both our Narberth and Cardigan practices.

If you have noticed any changes in your hearing, or it has simply been a while since your last check, booking a hearing test is a straightforward and reassuring first step. We offer comprehensive hearing assessments carried out by our qualified audiologist. And, if you are over 55, they’re completely free.
Your appointment includes a detailed hearing check using the latest equipment. We explain your results clearly and talk through the options that best support your hearing going forward.
Earwax is a normal part of the ear’s protection system, but it can sometimes build up and cause blocked ears, discomfort or temporary hearing loss.
We use gentle microsuction, a modern technique that removes wax without water. The procedure is quick, comfortable and completed by a qualified audiologist. The procedure usually takes around 15 minutes, and many people notice an immediate improvement in their hearing and overall comfort after treatment.

If your hearing test shows that hearing aids could help, we offer a wide choice of modern, Bluetooth, discreet and rechargeable devices to suit different needs and budgets.
Our audiologist will guide you through choosing the right style and ensure your hearing aids fit comfortably. Thanks to our partnership with Amplify Hearing, we also offer exclusive UK access to Beltone hearing aids.
Once your hearing aids are fitted, we provide up to five years of warranty and lifetime aftercare, including fine tuning and ongoing advice, to help you keep your hearing at its best for years to come.
