Terms & Conditions 

  1. Offer period 
    This promotion runs from 1st February 2026 to 31st March 2026 inclusive. Any orders placed outside this period do not qualify. 
  1. Offer details 
    The offer provides a free upgrade to Transitions® light-adaptive lenses when purchasing a new complete pair of prescription glasses With Essilor® Crizal® coated lenses (frame and lenses) from Pritchard Cowburn Opticians. 
  1. Eligible lenses 
    The offer applies to Transitions® XTRActive New Generation Essilor® Crizal® and Transitions® GEN S Essilor® Crizal®  lenses only.  
    Availability is subject to prescription suitability and supplier limitations. 
  1. What is included 
    The promotion covers the standard Transitions® upgrade cost only. 
    All other lens options are chargeable, including but not limited to: 
  1. Anti-reflection coatings 
  1. Premium coatings 
  1. Thinner or high-index lenses 
  1. Varifocal / occupational upgrades 
  1. Prescription enhancements 
  1. Prescription suitability 
    The offer is subject to clinical suitability based on your prescription and lifestyle needs. Your optician will advise if Transitions® lenses are suitable for you. 
  1. Exclusions 
  1. Reglazes are excluded from this offer 
  1. Cannot be combined with any other discount, offer or promotion 
  1. Not valid on previous purchases or quotes 
  1. Cannot be exchanged for cash or an alternative discount 
  1. Returns, changes & reglazes 
    Any changes, remakes or reglazes requested for reasons unrelated to manufacturing fault may result in the customer being charged the standard upgrade cost. 
    This offer does not override Pritchard Cowburn Opticians’ existing returns, remake or non-tolerance policies. 
  1. Manufacturer performance 
    Transitions® lenses activate based on UV exposure, not temperature. 
    Tinted performance may vary depending on conditions, vehicle windscreens and usage. Darkening levels may differ from traditional sunglasses. 
  1. Availability 
    Subject to stock availability and external laboratory turnaround times. Pritchard Cowburn Opticians cannot guarantee identical completion times to in-house glazing. 
  1. Right to amend or withdraw 
    Pritchard Cowburn Opticians reserves the right to amend or withdraw this promotion at any time without prior notice where reasonably necessary.
